Reserving the Barrett Alumni Center

    The Barrett Alumni Center serves the Hastings College and broader Hastings community as a place to meet and celebrate! Any questions about reserving the Barrett Alumni Center for events should be directed to Kendra Bargen at kbargen@hastings.edu or 402.461.7363.

    Rental Rates
    Monday-Friday

    HC employees: $50 for non-college related events per day
    Alumni, businesses and others:
    $100 per day
     
    Saturday-Sunday 
    HC employees: $50 per half day/$100 per full day for non-college related events (up to $200 for the entire weekend)
    Alumni, businesses and others:
    $100 per half day/$200 per full day (up to $400 for the entire weekend)
     
    Deposit
    A $100 deposit, in addition to the rental fees for your event and the signed rental agreement form, are due two weeks prior to the rental date. If we do not receive these items, the building is considered open and available to anyone else who inquires to rent the facilities. If the terms and conditions of the rental are not met, the $100 deposit will be nonrefundable to the renter.

    If alcohol is served on the premises, the renter is responsible for acquiring an establishment with a liquor license to serve beverages. Hastings College and the Hastings College Alumni/Foundation are not responsible for negligence and damages caused by the distribution of alcoholic beverages.
